The BusyBeeFarm is including useful
information and specifications for the
Sticky Machine.
Providing
standardization everywhere possible.
Color coding the component functions. For quickly identifying and
following the component trace. ie.The Fill line: the valve wire(red), the piston
tube (red)
Using standard nuts and
bolts.
3 tools needed for the machine.
Pliers, small screwdriver, and hex wrench.
Straws:
Polypropylene straws can be utilized up to 225F before
wall distortion may occur. Straws have a flash point of 525F.
Electrical: Normal system operation
temperatures should be 50-100F
The Power supply.
Controller, Terminal bus all have a rating of 0-55C.
Pneumatic/Mechanical:
The air cylinders, valves, and the injector have million
cycle repeatability. With years of experience behind those manufactures of the
parts selected. Dependability, and reliability are guaranteed. The tube has 220
PSI rating.
Aluminum: High tensile extruded
aluminum. (What more can? I say about that) Really Durable.
Acrylic:
Chemical resistant, Isopropyl alcohol will shine it up
nicely, but hot water with a bit of bleach will also do wonders. No direct
bleach.
Honey and Fluids:
Any fluid thicker than
Vegetable Oil should be at 130deg.F. It all comes down to flow of fluid without
air in the straw, consistently. Even chocolate syrup flows nice at 130, Maple
syrup like a dream.
A toggle switch primes the
line, and runs to clean cycle the Injector. WHICH you MUST do if it is going to
sit more than a hour or two. When fluids cool they thicken a bit which = slower
output until the line warms up.
